Derek Fisher sat down to recap the Los Angeles Lakers’ win over the Atlanta Hawks last night.
Fisher praised Lonzo Ball and the impact he has had on the Lakers thus far.
“The ball has more energy and more juice in it when Lonzo is in the lineup. I think the ball movement that happens for the team overall ends up benefiting Brandon [Ingram] even more because Lonzo is kicking the ball up in transition, hitting it up to guys ahead.”
Fisher talked about how Ball is creating opportunities for his teammates to score, despite what their record shows for this season.
“Sometimes you need some positive feedback for the hard work you’ve been putting in.”
Despite losing nine games in a row, Fisher believes that this will be a learning lesson for the Lakers and it will help them play more as a unified team.
