The Los Angeles Lakers fell to the New York Knicks in overtime on Tuesday night, 113-109.
Derek Fisher mentioned that the way they lost felt more disappointing than the fact that they did lose given the success of the Knicks at home this season.
“Knicks are a good home team this season. They were 12-5 coming into tonight so to lose a close overtime game to the Knicks [at Madison Square Garden] is not necessarily a big issue, but they had some opportunities to win it.”
D-Fish also noted the Knicks shot almost fifty percent from the floor along with scoring 26 second chance points, a recipe for a tough night if you are the opposition.
Check it out.
