He already has five NBA Championship rings. Now, Derek Fisher is looking for another trophy to add to his resume.
The former Los Angeles Laker will appear on Season 25 of Dancing With The Stars, paired with Australian Sharna Burgess. Burgess is a two-time runner-up in the competition and has been paired with athletes before—most notably NFL wide receivers Keyshawn Johnson and Antonio Brown.

Derek’s longtime Laker teammate Kobe Bryant was a little surprised to see his former point guard join DWTS, but he told him to bring another title home to L.A. nonetheless.
“On the list of all the teammates I’ve played with, I’ve got to say yours was not at the top of the list as far as guys who would be on Dancing With The Stars,” Kobe joked.
