Head coach Derek Fisher met with the media after his New York Knicks made the trip overseas to London to take on the Milwaukee Bucks as a part of the NBA’s Global Games initiative.
Coach Fish gave status updates on Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire, who did return to practice across the pond. The Knicks’ two ailing stars both put strong work in during their early week practice, and Derek said the two looked good, but their status remains uncertain for Thursday’s contest.
Fish also chipped in on the NBA Global Games and how far the league and the sport have come since he joined the league as a player in 1996.
The Knicks and the Bucks will tipoff at 3 p.m. EST from London’s O2 Arena. The game will be broadcast on NBATV.
