For a team with just seven losses in 32 games, a losing streak is an oddity, so back-to-back home losses to the Portland Trail Blazers and Brooklyn Nets were a bit mystifying to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
But the Thunder got back to their winning ways over the weekend. Oklahoma City went into Minnesota on Saturday night and defeated the Timberwolves 115-111 on Saturday, then came back home and topped the Boston Celtics 119-96 to move to 27-7 for the season.
Derek Fisher had two of his biggest games of the season in the weekend victories. In Minnesota, he tallied a season-high 13 points, knocking down a trip of threes and added four assists and two rebounds in 24 and a half minutes off the bench. One night later against Boston, Fish had eight points, drained 2-of-3 shots from deep and added three assists, two rebounds and a steal.
