Just days after learning of its cancellation, avid Lakers fan, comedian George Lopez hosted the final episode of his late night talk show Lopez Tonight last Thursday.
The finale wouldn’t have been complete, of course, without D-Fish, who helped Lopez open the show just over two years ago.
Derek, who just celebrated his birthday last Tuesday, stopped by the show with fellow Laker Ron Artest. During the appearance, he helped Ron introduce his new name, Metta Wolrd Peace and his standup comedy routine.
Lopez also asked Derek about a possible turn on Dancing with the Stars and got No. 2 to show off his salsa moves. D-Fish even talked briefly about the state of the NBA.
"We want to play basketball. There’s no question about it. We want to play basketball for you,
