For D-Fish and the Lakers, the toughest stretch of the season continues tonight.

Fresh off a flat loss at Portland, LA heads into Houston tonight for an old fashioned shootout with the Rockets.

The Lakers have taken both meetings with Houston so far this season. In their last meeting in the lone-star state on January 13, LA saved their best basketball for the end as a 27-18 fourth quarter carried them to a 105-100 win. Derek score eight points and dished three assists in the ‘W.’

In their only other meeting, LA overcame a 12-point deficit at the end of the first to overwhelm the Rockets and post a 111-82 win. No. 2 scored six points and grabbed three boards in the win.

But the Rockets are surging, having won nine of their last 11 games, and without the injured Andrew Bynum and suspended Lamar Odom it will be an uphill climb for the Lakers.
