Hitting the road after a home loss is a recipe for a big let down, but Derek and the Lakers scored more than enough to avoid that in Minnesota.
D-Fish scored 10 points and added four boards and three assists as LA cruised to a 132-119 victory over the Timberwolves last night.
Derek opened up the game by pulling down a defensive board, then connecting on his first shot at the other end to give the Lakers a 2-0 lead.
D-Fish added two more points in the third and came alive in the fourth knocking down two triples in the final two minutes to cement the LA victory.
The victory helped the Lakers start a long road trip on the right foot and improve their league best record to 36-9 on the season.
